African Orphan
"Every five seconds a child under 5 dies of a preventable cause" Studying Africa within my studies inspired me to look further into the work of charities such as UNICEF. Inspired by this site I created a series of portraits of African Orphans.

This African baby portrait was created using acrylic paint on canvas. I find this subject particularly interesting as a painting of a small child can be made thought provoking and heart breaking to convey a message.
